35mm film is a standard motion picture film format. 35mm is made of celluloid, a transparent, flexible plastic, commonly used for both moving pictures and still photography. It consists of a strip of plastic coated with light-sensitive emulsion, allowing images to be captured and projected. A 35mm film projector uses this film to display moving images. Clemson hosts two 35mm film projectors. The projectors can only be operate by a projectionist from Atlanta, as using a 35mm projector can be dangerous and is extremely delicate.
